Equality, Diversity and Inclusion matters

 

As an internationally focused professional services firm, diversity and inclusion are foundational to our culture and strategic vision. Our diversity makes our global community stronger, more interesting and richer in thought and representation, helping us in solve the most complex problems and designing practical and tangible solutions for our clients.

 

What do we mean by Diversity and Inclusion? This is big topic and for us it shares equal weighting for ethnicity, gender, neurodiversity, LBGTQI+, returners, smart working, military veterans, and young and senior age hires.

 

We view diversity and inclusion as a business imperative, and seek to engage with our clients to drive diversity and inclusion both within our firm and in the broader business community. In has been proven in various independent studies that diverse teams make innovation possible, provide us greater insight into client needs, and lead to better performance

 

Our approach is international and inclusive. We have a  networked community of more than 12,000 people in 50 countries who speak 60+ languages, and we want to ensure that all of our people feel included and empowered.

 

The D&I Agenda is championed at the highest level by our Chair, Advisory Board and our Executive Committee whose members each have a passion, commitment and KPIs around equality, diversity and inclusion.

 

We have an international D&I Committee who actively work to drive forward the firm's diversity and inclusion chapter strategy and monitor progress through regular meetings and leadership accountability. 

 

We are proactively cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment through leadership accountability, policies and practices and client and community programmes.

 

How will we measure success? In 2019 we committed to equality with international targets of 40% women, 40% men and 20% flexible (women, men or non-binary persons), including all our diverse categories, by September 2025. The targets apply to Board, Committee Chairs, C-suite, Managing Director, Director and Heads of Function, senior business professional candidate pools for recruitment.
